Tasted August 4, 2007 as part of the Wino Depot Tasting With Friends event for August. Opened and served immediately in a Riedel Overture Champagne flute. Light pink/peachy kind of color with a clear hue throughout with a moderate to full mousse. Nose of baking spices, black raspberries, ginger snap cookies and maybe a hint of sherry. Flavors of ginger, dough, black cherries and raspberries. Moderate acidity, light to medium body. Drink over the short term. (88 pts.)
