Bright purple, moderate intense, vinous nose of smoke, herbs, spice, tobacco, raspberry and blackberry. Full body, medium acidity and tannin, high complexity. Palate matches with additions of leather, more knit with more depth than the normal Varennes. This bottling is single parcel of ungrafted Cab. Franc. Very interesting tasting the same wine, ungrafted and grafted bottling. 92pts
