2005 Cave Vinicole de Hunawihr Pinot Noir Secret Valley - France, Alsace, Alsace AOC (5/26/2007)
WIML87,NOWA,NOWS

Tasted May 26, 2007 at a retail tasting. Opened and served immediately. Raspberry color in the glass, slightly cloudy throughout. Nose of raspberries, a dash of blueberry, underlying floral bouquet with some soft spices thrown in. Flavors of Bing cherries and raspberries. Light to medium acidity, medium tannins, light to medium body. Distinctive pinot noir, almost Gamay like. Drink over the short to mid-term. (87 pts.)
