2004 Château Lamy Corbières - France, Languedoc Roussillon, Languedoc, Corbières (4/22/2007)
WIML86-87,PURPLE86,NOWA,NOWS

Tasted April 22, 2007 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Speigelau Authentis Magnum glass. Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of blueberries up front followed by some black berries, rose petals, maybe a little smoke and then some dried herbs on the finish. Flavors of Bing cherries witgh some notes of red berries and touch of bitters on the finish. Also some pepper notes. Some tartness as well. Light to medium acidity, tannins and body. Drink now. Would make a nice picnic wine since it shows better with food and is a decent value play at $12.00 a bottle pre-discounted price. (86 pts.)
