Pale straw, fine bead, active mousse. Medium nose of minerals, lemon, green apple, light toffee, nuts and toasted buttery bread. Medium body, medium plus intensity and medium plus acidity. Grilled nuts, citrus, stones, brioche with quince and pear. An excellent, balanced champagne, drink now or hold.

I agree, great champagne, and at $79.99 on WineLibrary, this is hard to pass up.

They have some great prices on lower-mid tier and grower champagnes. I love Brice, Gosset, Vilmart, Gaston Chiquet, Jacquart, among others. There really are a lot of champagnes out there that are just as good as, if not better ( in some cases WAY BETTER ) than the same old, same old that we hear about all the time.

Another reason to check out WineLibrary is their Video Wine Blog. Just click on the orange TV tab at the top of the page. Gary Vaynerchuk, a really great guy if you've ever met him, host a video blog several times a week. Some of the information is more geared toward beginners, but its always a lot of fun to watch nonetheless. They started back in February and I think they have almost 50 videos on the site now.....and they keep on coming. Definitely worth checking out if you have not watched them.
