Medium blood red to clear at the rim. Nose of cherry candy, prune, vanilla oak, milk chocolate, a hint of spice. A bit astringent in the mouth, with fairly high acids and cherry fruit, medium bodied, reasonably pleasant finish with high acids at the back of the mouth but some tannin at the far end. Definately quaffable for a wine geek, but your inlaws probably wouldn't like it. 83 points.
