| $44.00, retail.
Lovely bottle of wine, we enjoyed with trout fillet. Tasted green apple, lemony/lime, pine, & a hint of oak on the finish.
This is the oldest bubbly I ever had @ 15+ years of age. And, this bottle is, in fact, showing its age. It is not as fruit-forward & not as crisp as a younger bubbly would be. And, dry, very dry.
No worries, this bottle is very much alive. An awesome bottle of wine for $40.00. | | |

| If you like rose, Ellner produces a NV rose that is in the same style as the Billecart-Salmon. The Billecart is in a class by itself but Ellner's is very good for the $27 we paid for it. | | | I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. | |
