1996 Feuillatte Palmes d'Or - Drank at offline at Corkage's house last weekend. High fizz, light yellow color. Nose of toffee and subtle, high-toned spices. Low acidity and a touch of residual sweetness, with a supple and creamy texture, and a complex flavor profile dominated by green apples and light stone fruits. Nice long and smooth finish that continues to show great flavor integration. Like many 96's, this seems to be showing great at a relatively young age.

1996 Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne Brut Cuvée Palmes d'Or - France, Champagne, Epernay, Champagne (8/6/2005) Had this at Corkage's dinner in August. I liked this quite a lot! 90 (90 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker Hey, this TN is due to how stupid my brain works when I am eating Corkage's food. It's THAT GOOD.

1996 Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne Brut Cuvée Palmes d'Or - France, Champagne (5/18/2007) WIML92,NOWA,WS95 Tasted May 18, 2007 at an offline. Opened a served immediately. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout with a light mousse. Light notes of sherry, apricots and pears. Flavors of sweet apples, light cherry notes and some apricot on the finish. Light to medium acidity, light to medium body. Drink or hold. (92 pts.)
