Tasted at theJanuary, 2005 BAWE Liore Tasting....

Several folks seem to really enjoy this wine, but it just didn’t do it for me. Drinking more like a ripe Corbières than a Cab Franc, with vibrant purple color and a heavy, brooding nose of tar, iodine, black fruits, and earth. Nicely textured on the palate, with prominent but ripe tannins, and a medium finish. 84 points.
