It's getting quite sad finding wines as old as I am in much better shape then me. While I am approaching middle age, this one is just losing it's milk teeth. Here is a wine you could spend the night with your nose buried into the glass without ever tasting it. Honey, beeswax, lanolin with a slight note of citrus, leaning toward orange marmalade and Earl Grey tea…on the palate it’s rich and sweet, with perfect laser-like acidity. Bring on the Humboldt Fog…you’ve met your match. Come back in 20 years when this wine has some age on it.
