It seems about half the beaujolais notes are in this thread and half in the burgundy thread, so at random I went with this one.

Medium ruby in color. Cherries and violets on the nose, cherries and rasberries showing through on the palate. Opened and improved with some time and exposure to air. Significantly more body and heft than most beuajolais, almost like a pinot noir in that respect although the flavor profile was clearly gamay.

87-88 points.
