Several thought that this wine was somehow heat stressed and oxidized, but I beg to differ. It was showing as a mature, well aged Champagne should. It had beautifully complex aromas of white fruits, butterscotch, gingerbread, lemongrass and even a touch of caramel. On the palate it was lusciously round brimming with flavors of baked apples, crème brulee, candied orange peel and freshly baked raisin bread. I was terribly taken by its complexity. The verdict came out for this wine as by the end of the night, I was still drinking the last of it, albeit alone, but it was still beautiful! I think it is at its height currently and would fathom to drink the rest of them over the next 2-5 years, delicious!-rv | | |
