  This was completely different than what I was expecting from a Blanc de blancs champagne. On the nose it had marzipan with toasty notes. It had a creamy texture with a smooth mousse. Really quite fine. There is an impression of heavy use of oak.
  
  Edited to show that some flabbiness took over as the bottle was open. For this I also revised my rating from 92 to 91.

Hmmmm....when did you buy this bottle, Winetex?

(I had one fo these just under 2 years ago and found it almost like a sprkling Chablis)

I just bought it from Sam's in Chicago. There's no disgorge date so I couldn't tell you anything about the age of the bottle.

Beautiful golden color. A blast of yeast on the nose. Tart apple, some lemon and a hint of spice on the palate. Medium body.

Yummilicious!
