From magnum at the Walla Walla offline on 7/2/04
Unfortunately we did not have champagne flutes so we didn't get the full effect of this beautiful champagne. It was a deep pink-orange in color with a intense nose of spices and strawberries. More strawberries, cinnamon in the middle with a bit of an earthy note. There were some florals and spice on the long finish. From the mag it was very fresh and still youthful. It came in just short of a WOW wine. | | |

| Is this the current vintage of this bubbly? And, what would be the price tag on this (750s)? Thank You. | | | |

| I don't know if it is the current vintage of this or not. A 750 starts at about $175. My very nice husband bought the mag at a charity auction. We were pleased that it was good as you never know about provenance in that circumstance. | | | |

| I believe the 1995 is the current release. | | | |

| Both of you would have really enjoyed this wine. It was the best Rose I've had but then again I haven't tried a wide range of vintage Rose. | | | |

| Maybe you have an extra bottle to tuck away for when I get myself down to Texas one of these days ... | | | |
