Excellent, fine bead. Aromas of cream, oatmteal cookie, apples, ya pears, and gooseberries. Medium-bodied with apple, and cream. Good finish, ~ 20-25s. 87 points (03/15/2004).

I pretty much have to agree with futronic here as far as the rating goes & fruit. He nailed it. A bit disappointing, I expected bigger & better things from this bottle. I would even say that I tasted some yeast & a hint of bitterness on the finish.

The wine is young & improved towards the end of the night. I would hold this & see what & how it develops. But, currently it is not @ its best.
