Medium gold in color with aromas of minerals and slate (like a wet chalkboard). In the middle the flavors included pears and white flowers along with more minerals. This wine was extremely focused and had a lengthy finish with mint notes. There is still some acidity in the wine that makes me think it has additional development ahead. A good wine that would really shine with some rich seafood.
