I understand that this is infanticide of the highest order, but a guy's gotta drink something.

This was really delicious, with black cherry, earth and violets bursting out of the glass. It's not too tannic to drink now, but promises years of development. THis will be great stuff (it already is) in 7 years or so.

David, David, David... don't you know you're not supposed to open Chevillon's this young? lol -- loved that thread on eBob. Good thing I don't post over there, or I would have had to reveal that I usually drink all the Chevillon's I buy w/i 5 years of the vintage -- they're just too good!

Hope to see you around again some time.

Cheers,
John Kramer

Welcome Cylinder. It seems that you already know some of the folks here, so I hope you'll stick around and contribute!

Cylinder: Heh, heh.

JIMMYV: Central CT? I'm up on the MA border. Are our locations close enough to share a glass sometime?

Cheers!

Has anyone had the '99 Chevillon Nuits St. Georges VV bottling lately? I was going to wait, but maybe I should pop it now. Thanks for your opinions.
