Tasted as part of a three bottle chardonnay tasting.

Clear pale straw color. Rich butter, almond, and citrus nose with a few interesting sulphur notes. Concentrated and resinous citrus, green apple, and mineral flavors followed by a tremendous citrus and pineapple finish. Well constructed, with very good balance. This wine would probably benefit from a few more years of bottle age. My wine of the flight. 93 points.

I have been a big fan of all of the d'Auvenay wines I have tasted. This is a good bottle that I have been fortunate enough to try a few times. I would agree with your notes. (if you ever hae the chance to try her Criots Batard Montrachet....Holy Smoke!!!)
