2002 Verget Macon-Burgy “Les Prusettes” (87 WIML)
France

Quick notes only. Needed something to sip on while dinner is being prepared so PURPLE and I decided to crack this one open. Purchased locally at Pogos for $26.99 per 750ml. 13% alcohol by volume. Opened and served immediately without decanting in Spiegelau Authentis RotWein glasses. Wanted to use the slightly larger bowls on this wine. Color is a light yellow. Nose of mild ruby grapefruit, flowers and lemon zest. Flavors of green apple, lemon zest, peach and mild spice on the finish. Clean, crisp and a fairly sweet wine. Enjoyable white quaffer for drinking over the short term. 87 WIML points.
Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.
