Purchased for $18. We had this wine with steamed mussels in garlic-butter and white-wine sauce, along with a toasty baguette and some salad. The wine displayed creamy apple aromas and had touches of buttery fat. On the palate it was a well-balanced wine with fruit, mineral and acidity all playing well together. It's not a wine that makes you stand up and say WOW, but something to quaff while you enjoy your mussels and dipping the bread in the mussel juice (yum). 86pts.
