A cheapy at about $12 USD. Selling it and had it open for tasting along with Louis Beaujolais Villages 2002( I don't enjoy Beaujolais so I can't do it justice when scoring.).

A nice straw with a green hint with moderate viscousity. The nose was light and subtle (maybe not warm enough). Wafts of peach, vanilla, steely minerals and a slighter warm fig note all showed through. The more air it recieved the more open it became displaying further citrus notes . The palate was light with much forward acid notes dominating any real flavours. This was further compounded by slightly souring fruit notes. However the length was good and the real flavours showed themselves on through aftertaste.Particularly lime and softer vanilla. All in all a wine worth the money, and when dealing with Burgundy I believe its money better spent on New World wines, when considering the alternatives. I would recommend a little more time in the bottle to allow the acids to intergrate. This wine would be acceptable if you are after a lighter chardonnay for seafood, otherwise I would skip. 82 points.
