I drank this over two days (decanted into a 1/2 bottle and kept in cellar til the second day).

Day 1: Green Apple with citrus and a bit of nuts. Lots of acidity, but still nice to drink.

Day 2: Gained weight overnight, considerably taming the acids. Creamy (tho not from oak it appeared, this was creamy from weight, ML, and banana-papaya) and subtle tropical fruits and citrus. Very complex elegant wine. Kept tasting different flavors as I drank it. I really like a wine that keeps showing different flavors and evolves over the evening.

I'd wait 3-4 more years before drinking one "for real".

Hmmm, can't remember the exact price but it was less than $30 (closer to $25) on sale at Premier Cru. That's an incredible price for that wine as far as I can tell. Should have bought more than the two I got.

I really liked the '98 version of this wine. I have none left. Drank the 4 I bought. If I see the '00 anywhere, I'll make sure I pick up a bottle.
