The wine started very tight and initially had a muted nose but a very silky smooth mouth feel. It opened up after a few hours and I was surprised at the complex flavors that developed. The flavors of Plum, Spice, and a hint of grilled meat were wound into this medium bodied wine. There was a slight impression of sweetness with the perfect acid balance and soft tannins created a smooth mouth coating.
