Served out of Vinum Chablis glasses. Drank on the first night with a plate of oysters on the 1/2 shell, and then salmon in a green peppercorn/fat free 1/2 and 1/2 sauce. Finished up the second night with Alaskan seafood chowder. This was the first of two bottles that I bought in April 01 and had paid $26.99/per.

The wine was light gold in color. It gave up rather subdued flinty aromas. The flavors were of citrus and pear. The wine is medium bodied, clean and sharp, and also expressed a bit of chalk near the end of the bottle. A good finish. A nice enough wine, but I've had better Brocards. An MBD rating of "87".
