| | Popped and poured, drank over 3 hours. Initially showing a slightly
offputting nose of cherry and alcohol. After about a half hour it
started to come together. Nice rich nose of cherries with a hint of
minerals, but also a bit too acidic on the finish. After about 2 hours
it was still improving in the glass. Nose of cherries and minerals with
some crisp acidity. Solid in the midpalate, but would not describe as
lush. A slight lingering finish. Overall a sold entry level Burg. 85 points. | | | |
