  • 1999 Domaine des Chezeaux Griottes-Chambertin - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru (11/16/2007)
    Incredibly elegant, flavorful nose, loaded with fruit and floral notes. In the mouth, the Pinot fruit flavors are smooth and elegant. There is a touch of cardamom and allspice on the finish. The acid balance was great and the wine paired well with all our dishes.

I have hit and miss experiences with Chezaux, have always had good experiences with Griottes though.

Do you remember who the bottle said elevaged this particular bottle? (Ponsot or Leclerc?)
