Dark garnet with a lightly bricked rim. Medium nose of vanillin, oakspice, dark cherry verging on black fruits, plum and light earth. Medium body, medium plus intensity and medium acidity this wine exhibited good concentration, but lacked the complexity I would of expected from this producer. It also showed a little too much oak. This may possibly soak it up because this wine has another decade plus of life ahead of it, but I am in no rush to try it again.

oops..forgot about the tannins which were present but not overwhelming. This wine was throwing a ton of sediment as well.
