Picked this up on our visit to France in January 2002. Purchased directly from the Vigneron, we bought one each of Noel's three wines, this being the most "expensive", at $7.00 U.S.

Clear golden color with just the slightest greenish hue. The nose presents itself immediately with lovely, characteristic Chablis notes of chalk, loam, and bright clear fruit. Superb on the palate with a light creaminess, high acidity, and sharp and intensely focused fruit. Conveying beautifully what Chablis should convey – fruit and a sense of place, this is a beautiful wine. 91 points, drink now-2006. Wish I had more.
