This producer is known for forward overt wine with high levels of residual sugar and lotsa new oak.

It didn't disappoint.

Colour: Golden
Nose: Sweet vanilla soaked Hickory notes, smokey bacon notes with peach and mango, with meally aftertones dominated by caramel and smoky flavours.
Palate: Outstanding texture, the wine rolled around the mouth leaving lovely tantilising notes of flavour. The acids were quite dominant and with the sweet fore palate this wine was living up to the producers reputation of forward intense wines.Length was moderate finishing around the mid palate while the finish and flavours lingered for some time.
Overall: An enjoyable wine with forward almost new world character. The wine does however have good elegant structure that typifies Burgundy. 88 POints on the Jeremy scale, sells for around $20 USD.
