| i bought this wine about three years ago from the wine library. i don't remember exactly what i paid. probably about $25. again, another recommended wine, but quite a disappointment. luckily after this bottle, i only have one left.
1995 produced many overly tannic wines with weak fruit. this wine is no exception. i have drank this wine over the last few years and it has not improved and never will. light ruby in color with a mild nose of sour cherry and mushrooms. medium bodied, muted cherry and earth flavors, overly tannic, short finish. me83(i may be a little too generous). luckily, i only have one bottle to go.
