This has a pronounced developed bouquet showing black cherry and spice with a hint of forest floor which becomes more noticeable with more time in the glass.

It has very good depth on the palate for a village wine, with savoury black cherry and bilberry and hints of spice supported by ripe medium tannins. The finish is long and nicely balanced by medium + / crisp acidity. This really is pretty good for a village wine, is drinking perfectly now but will probably hold for at least another 2 years.
