I picked this up at a distributor close-out for $40. Only one bottle available.

Only 120 cases produced.

Color: Clear, pale straw
Nose: A wonderful nose of rich spicy lemons, green apples, and pineapple
Palate: Resinous lemons and pineapple, with a muted mineral component. No weaknesses in structure from start to finish. Very concentrated, and a nice acid balance, with a very long green apple and lemon finish.
Conclusion: Wow. The nose on this was no nice that I didn't bother to take a sip for several minutes, and I nursed the first glass for a good half hour. I wouldn't call this the best QPR in the world, but an excellent wine from what was a less than stellar year (this is the best 98 White Burgundy I've had). Tastes great right now, but probably will hold for another 5-6 years. 93 points.
