After the nasty Santenay we opened this one. It was a very nice wine with further aging potential. It was a medium gold color with citrus and minerals on the nose. After it warmed up it opened up, expressing more citrus, vanilla and slate in the middle. The finish was long and aromatic. Sorry for the lack of better notes but I’m going off memory.

It is not a premier cru vineyard which probably accounts for the lower price point in Meursault. It is a buy at a reasonable white burgundy price.
