I was a little disappointed by the Vaudieu from yesterday, so I decided to open a sure thing today. So I gave CdP another try with a Croix de Bois. Now this is something completly different: deep red color, very concentrated and velvety. Notes of plum, fig, coffee, cherries and violet, with some leather and smoke in the back. On the palate it was very concentrated, with soft tannins and a good acidity. Maybe it's a little too early to open this one, but it's sure drinking very well now! 92 pts.
Short- I bought 6 bottles @ US$55 each a while ago. A much better value!
