Blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache aged for 12 months in 1 and 2 year old French oak.

Brilliant purple and ruby with a reserved nose of  blackberry, a wineries barrel room, slight smoke and dill spice. Medium bodied, moderate complexity, acidity and tannin.  Ripe red and back fruits on the palate, red licorice whips, oak spice and herbs.  Long length and a light heat on the finish.  This wine was just muddled and not very distinct.  84pts.
