2004 Le Clos du Caillou Côtes du Rhône Bouquet des Garrigues - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône (11/14/2007) A nice little bottle of wine - aromas of dark cherries, red meat and roasted herbs. Medium-bodied, the wine is drinking well with flavors of cherries, licorice and kirsch. A very pleasant bottle that went well with a pan-seared NY strip steak. (88 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker

I am a fan of this producer. Lots of low 90s scores from Parker (except for the Reserve) so the prices have stayed decent. The 05 big boys (the Quartz and Reserve CDPs) were a little pricey but I think they are going to be stunning.

I've only had the regular CdP bottling from them, and I can't say I was impressed (2000 or 2001 vintage) enough get more from this producer, but I enjoyed this Cotes du Rhone very much - $18 with case discount.
