Straw gold, medium plus nose, take some rocks out of a fire, slather them in honey and top them off with wax beans, melon, honeysuckle and peach until they heat up and release their aromas more and that’s the nose. Full body, medium plus intensity, medium acidity. Round, full and rich, unctuous with more notes from the nose. A most incredible expression of Roussanne. 97pts.

I had both the 2003 and 2004 and they were closed down.  MAN!  I wish I had hit them on releae or waited a few years.  The basic '03 Beaucastel Blanc is one of the best dry white wines I've had.

I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

I have had the normal CdP blanc from Beaucastel quite a few times. It never quite hits the heights that the 100% Roussanne VV does. This is just awesome juice. Assuming you like Roussanne which some do, and some don't.
