Tasted August 12, 2006 at a retail tasting. Served in a Reidel Restaurant Magnum glass. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of dried herbs, plums and mixed berries. Flavors of red currants, red cherries and red berries. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Should drink well over the next 8-9 years easily. Based on my local retail price of $76.49 I’d say the value here is unacceptable. (91 pts.)
