Tasted August 12, 2006 at a retail tasting. Served in a Reidel Restaurant Magnum glass. Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of roasted meat, mocha and mixed berries. Flavors of black cherries, blackberries and black licorice. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Drink over the medium term. Based on my local retail price of $21.24 I’d say the value here is recommened. NOTE: I bought two bottles for the cellar. (90 pts.) | |
