I suspect this wine got lost in a cellar, as it should have been consumed years ago. That notwithstanding, the wine presented an interesting exposure to an older Condrieu. The fruit is certainly fading in this wine, but it is not completely gone, and it shows the classic floral and perfumed notes of Viognier - just to a lesser extent than one would like. The wine also shows some interesting minderal notes, and is medium in weight, and refreshing, if not particularly complex.
