Tasted May 17, 2006 at an offline at The Catalina Room in Dallas, TX. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Light red rose petal color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Singular nose of strawberries. Flavors of strawberries with a smidge of grapefruit. The wine is OK on the palate but really doesn’t excite in any way. Assuming the price is close to $20.00 a bottle I’d say the value is unacceptable.
NOTE: I'm pretty sure this was the 2003 vintage but will come back and edit this note if incorrect. (80 pts.)
