Roussanne/Marsanne blend from the St. Peray AC at the southern end of the northern rhone. Pale straw with green hints, a medium nose of straw mats, hawthorne, underbrush, wetstone, light honey and a beer note (hard to explain). Medium body, medium-to-medium plus intensity and medium acidity. Palate follows the nose with a slightly bitter finish, balanced. Recommended in the near term.
