Tasted March 11, 2006 by itself at a retail wine tasting. Opened and served immediately in a Riedel “restaurant series” Syrah glass. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of violets, spice cake, black cherries and saddle leather. Flavors of black cherries and mint. Good QPR but didn’t impress me enough to buy. Drink now. (87 pts.) | |
