Very dark clear ruby in color. On the nose there is blackberry, black cherry and a hint of earth.. On the plate this wine is rich with an abundance of dried black fruits with the black cherry component being dominate. A very fruit driven wine with enough back round structure to hold and maybe even improve with a couple years of cellaring. A blend of old vine syrah, grenache and mourvedre. A nice wine by anybody's standard.--------89pts
