Golden deep color. Nose of honey and nuts with some white peach. Full bodied and dense. Wonderful mature flavor of bees wax, roast nuts and honey, with underlying pear and peach notes. Slightly spice like notes on the very long and smooth finish. A wonderful wine, really came alive with roast chicken, showing the excellent balance of acidity and body. 92 points.

Sounds like one to seek out. I've had a lot of disappointing CdP Blancs.

I find White Rhone's the most challenging wines to buy. Quility varies wildly between producers, a producers track record with reds is often no indication of their success with whites, and they are rarely if ever offered at tastings. I usually am forced to buy one bottle to evaluate and then return to purchase more. Good news is they move slowely from retail, but even then, they rarely appear at retail as well.
