The wine had a beautiful floral nose of cedar, anise, and dark fruit. On the palate, the wine is elegant and balanced with flavors of anise, ripe dark berries, and a hint of chocolate. This wine is in prime drinking form right now. I doubt it will improve and it may not hold for long. I've had it four or five times now with consistent results, although the elegance and complexity of this last bottle outshine the earlier bottles. My rating 92. My wife's rating (no, the wine) 94.
