| Decanted for 4+ hours, deep dark purple in color, the nose displays beautiful ripe cassis, blueberries, plum, pencil shaving, and vanilla. Good structure on the palate with ripe tannins and medium body, plump and rich, with nice spice notes. Not overly complex, but certainly a great value at $14 – 91 points, drink 2005-2010. | | | 2008: the end of an error |
