This wine is from Puisseguin St. Emillon. Tried a couple of glasses of this last night without any decanting time. Mouthfeel was round and fleshy. The flavors were ripe blueberry pie, the fruit was sweet with some vanilla flavors, also a touch of minerality. The finish was of moderate length with a pleasant aftertaste. This is 100% merlot, without any decanting it was a little tight, I will try the rest tonight to see if any change. I think I paid around $13 for this and will buy a couple more I would rate this 87pts and think it would benefit from short term aging.
