$45 from Winebid. Excellent condition, fill just into the neck. Deep blood red with just the slightest tinge of rust at the edge. Nose of iodine, shed hung tobacco, old oiled leather, a pinch of cigar box, and dark cherry fruit. Medium bodied with deep cherry and earth tones, still some rich tannins that are nicely integrated. Very nice balance into a nice medium finish. I'll take all my $45, 20 year old Bordeaux like this, thank you. A very nice wine that some would call ready to drink, but some might want another 3 to 5 years on it. Drank with a big ole juicy pork loin and rigatoni smothered in parmesan. 91 points.

Moderate bricking, with equally moderate intensity on the nose, with aromas of earth and plum. A very pretty wine, with smooth soft tannins, and a good overall feel in the mouth, finishing medium and pleasing. 88 points.
