A good wine - 2003 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac (3/1/2008)
Dark purple with a red rim; Tasted double blind; Clearly a Bordeaux blend but I did not think it was a Bordeaux due to the huge fruit. It was a bit monolithic with a velvety texture. Pencil shavings on the long finish. Needs further aging. (91 pts.)
